This study aims to carry out a literature review on nursing care for pregnant women with HIV, with an emphasis on the care provided after diagnosis. Articles published between 2019 and 2024 were included. The results showed the importance of the nurse's role in monitoring these pregnant women, providing information about the disease, treatment and prenatal care. In this sense, the review highlighted the need for educational actions and psychological support for pregnant women, aimed at adherence to treatment and prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV. However, specialized nursing care is essential to guarantee the health of the pregnant woman and her baby.
