The growing attention to medicinal cannabis reflects its potential to relieve severe neurological conditions and treat various pathological symptoms. The general objective of the study is to understand how cannabis affects female reproductive health, including its influences on fertility and pregnancy. The methodology involved analyzing data on the interaction of cannabis with the endocannabinoid system and its effects on hormonal regulation, as well as reviewing evidence on cannabis use during pregnancy. Among the most relevant findings is the discussion on how the interaction of cannabis with the endocannabinoid system can influence hormonal regulation and, consequently, fertility. Additionally, concerns about the potential impacts of cannabis on reproductive health and fetal development were explored. The conclusion highlights that, despite the long history of therapeutic use of cannabis for reproductive issues, modern scientific evidence remains limited. There is an urgent need for more clinical studies to understand the long-term effects and specific biological mechanisms of cannabis on female reproductive health. It is essential to adopt an evidence-based approach to formulate policies and intervention strategies that maximize the benefits and minimize the risks associated with cannabis use.
