The article "Between Pain and Relief" addresses self-harm, not merely as an act of self-inflicted damage, but as a complex coping mechanism adopted in the face of psychological and emotional adversities. The analysis extends to the study of social, cultural, and individual influences that shape this behavior, emphasizing the need for multidisciplinary and patient-centered therapeutic approaches. Moreover, the text highlights the importance of a broad understanding of the phenomenon, addressing its underlying causes and promoting intervention strategies aimed at well-being and resilience. Through an inclusive and interdisciplinary perspective, the study proposes actions that replace the "shadow of pain" with "understanding and care," encouraging a more welcoming and transformative society.
