Abstract

This article presents a reflection on the increasing availability of access to the Internet and new technologies over the years, as well as the benefits and harms resulting from the excessive use that has become increasingly frequent and necessary in people's personal and professional lives. With the increasing expansion of Internet use and new technologies developed daily, it shows great ease and benefits for today's society, but, on the other hand, it also brings many concerns about how such unlimited use has changed. The Internet brings together those who are far away and drives away those who are close, as people end up paying more attention to social networks and talking to those around them. Not to mention the risks that the virtual world offers to those who do not know how to use it responsibly, since the Internet opens up a range of positive and mainly negative possibilities. Education continues to be the most viable path for people to know how to enjoy the benefits that the Internet world offers.
