This article aims to report on Public-Private Partnerships in the context of hospital food. Considering that the Public Administration needs to adapt to the changes in the New Tenders and Contracts Law No. 14,133/2021, which came into force on 04/01/2023, it is observed that changes have occurred in the rules of public procurement, thus, Therefore, strategic planning is necessary so that the Bodies can adapt and implement within the deadline and under the conditions stipulated by law, so that the needs for contracting goods and services are legally met. To this end, an integrative literature review was carried out using the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Google Scholar and PubMed databases, selecting scientific articles on the topic published between the years 2006 and 2023. Outsourcing hospital food is an efficient and advantageous solution for health institutions, therefore, I consider that the type of partnership between the State and private companies aiming to carry out and improve the quality of public services offered to the population reflects benefits, since it is established when the Public Administration does not have technical or financial conditions for management and execution.
