Childhood obesity is a growing public health problem, associated with multiple comorbidities and long-term complications, including type 2 diabetes, hypertension and psychological problems. This integrative review aims to analyze the most effective nutritional strategies for managing obesity in children, with an emphasis on interventions that promote sustainable changes in eating habits. Through the analysis of recent studies, interventions based on balanced diets, nutritional education, family involvement and the use of technological tools were identified. The results indicate that multifaceted approaches, which incorporate nutritional education and family support, are more effective in reducing body mass index (BMI) and promoting healthy habits. The integration of self-efficacy strategies, combined with social support, has proven to be crucial for the long-term success of interventions. This review highlights the importance of a collaborative approach in the implementation of childhood obesity management programs, aiming at a holistic and sustainable approach.
