Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) significantly impacts child development, affecting psychomotor and social skills. Game therapy emerges as an innovative approach that uses technology to create a playful environment, promoting improvements in motor skills and social interaction in children with moderate ASD. This work reviews the literature on the effectiveness of game therapy, highlighting its potential in conventional complementary therapies and increasing children's engagement in sessions. The results indicate significant benefits, indicating that game therapy can improve the quality of life of children with ASD, highlighting the need for more research on this approach.
