Abstract

This research addresses the application of the Rural Patrol in the context of Violent Crimes Against Property, focusing on the correct procedures for its use. These crimes, especially in the modality of city domination, pose a significant challenge to public safety, as they subjugate the State and present a high risk to both police forces and the population. Therefore, it is up to the Military Police to adopt technical procedures aimed at increasing the efficiency of combating these actions while preserving the integrity of the officers. Within the framework of the Territorial Defense Plan, the Rural Patrol of the COE (Special Police Operations Command) is a fundamental tool. Understanding its correct application and activating it whenever necessary demonstrates professionalism and proper resource management, which is essential for addressing these crimes in the State of Paraná. The approach taken in this article combines the analysis of practical experiences and real case studies extracted from operations in which the patrol played a crucial role, along with theoretical reflections. Although it contains analytical and conceptual elements, the primary focus is on operational experience and the knowledge accumulated in the field, forming the basis of the information and contributions presented.
