TEN YEARS OF THE NATIONAL EDUCATION PLAN (PNE): A CRITICAL ANALYSIS

This article proposes a careful analysis of the ten years of implementation of the National Education Plan in Brazil, with the aim of evaluating the 20 goals set in 2014. This analysis is based on a qualitative methodology of bibliographic review and document analysis, in which the advances, persistent challenges and gaps in the implementation of the goals proposed in this plan are investigated. The work understands that, although we have achieved achievements in terms of increased access to education, the issues of quality and equity remain complex and serious. Last but not least, the authors propose a renewed commitment to the proper financing of education and among the federative entities.
