The article explores the application of Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences Theory at Escola Municipal São João da Prata in Itamaraju, Bahia. The exploratory qualitative research involved participant observation, semi-structured interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis to investigate how different intelligences are developed in the classroom. Gardner initially identified seven intelligences: linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, bodily-kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, and intrapersonal, later adding naturalistic intelligence. The research highlighted how diversifying pedagogical strategies can address these varied intelligences, promoting a more inclusive and effective learning environment. The results indicate that valuing different intelligences contributes to the integral development of students, respecting their particularities and enhancing their individual capacities. The implementation of activities that stimulate intelligences such as linguistic, musical, and spatial, among others, proved effective in promoting more democratic and engaging teaching. This study contributes to the dissemination of innovative pedagogical practices that value the diversity of intelligences, emphasizing the importance of educational planning that considers the multiple facets of human development.
