This article aimed to investigate how the process of including autistic children in Early Childhood Education occurs. Given this, the lack of knowledge and the lack of continued training on the part of school management and teachers have been compromising the learning and development of students with ASD. The theoretical foundation of this research was based on (Sampaio, 2018); (Silva and Silva, 2015); (Fernandes 2016); (Hees, Ramírez and Santos 2023) and (Albuquerque 2017). The methodology adopted in this field study was classified as qualitative and was carried out in a public school in the city of Ipojuca-PE. Data collection was carried out through direct observations and questionnaires. Two subjects were selected for investigation, a teacher and a coordinator, who were called P and CP. Through the interview it was possible to affirm that the hypothesis was confirmed, since there are still schools that need to have an inclusive approach and teachers with appropriate specializations to deal with the specificities of these students.
