Abstract

Educational systems need constant updating to be able to offer students knowledge and possibilities for developing their skills and abilities, which need to be in line with the necessary knowledge for an increasingly globalized world, which must consider not only preparation for work but training for integral citizenship. It is in this context that the application of concepts about the internationalization of education in secondary education and the development of subjects with the capacity to integrate knowledge beyond a geographic region become fundamental for social growth. This article aims to present considerations on the challenges of school management in the face of cultural transformations in a globalized and interconnected world, with special importance on the implementation of internationalization paradigms for the high school curriculum. Three moments of reflection were held with educators who work in secondary education at a private school, with a preponderant use of the Participant Research methodology, where regulatory frameworks for education in Brazil, concepts of Internationalization and suggestions for solutions and practical actions aimed at to school management. Data collection was complemented by interviews to provide a qualitative in-depth analysis of the responses. The results supported the conclusions of this article, which seek to understand the best way to manage teaching and learning processes, with suggestions for administrative actions and management strategies for efficient continuing education focused on the implementation of disciplines and activities in accordance with the national parameters for the Internationalization of Basic Education in Brazil.
