This text presents na analysis the factors that impact the literacy process of students in the final years in the post-pandemic context at the IEMS school in the municipality of Monte Santo-Ba., demonstrating a great desire for a solution and a challenge in this task caused, among Other factors, as a resulto f the covid-19 Pandemic during the years 2020 and 2021. The methodology adopted was na exploratory in which data were colected in a municipal school through a case study via interviews with participating subjects. The theories were based on Magda Soares, Sônia Kreimer, Ele Franchi and for development on the topic, the book “Challenges of Post-Pandemic Education”. Its objective is to answer: How to teach students who are at the syllabic literacy level attending the final years of Elementary School What impacts caused by Covid-19 were most harmful to Education? among Other questions. The results on the factors that trigger children and adolescentes to become literate in the aforementioned school institution: The relationship between teacher and student to guide the literacy process; developing pedagogical strategies and promoting appropriate activities that enhance reading and writing, as well as communication and expression, making a viable environment for students to learn.
