This article highlights the importance of incorporating ICT into fifth year textbooks: analysis and perspectives for education in Santa Helena, Paraná for the years 2023 to 2026. In view of this, the study described here proposes an analysis of teaching materials used in the fifth year of elementary school in Santa Helena, Paraná, throughout the 2023-2026 period, with an emphasis on the incorporation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The justification emphasizes the importance of this investigation due to the complex challenges associated with the effective integration of ICT in education, especially at specific educational levels, such as the fifth year. The absence of clear guidelines and strategies adapted for this local context represents a gap that requires addressing. In this way, research was used on different materials, seeking to highlight that the application of pedagogical resources together allows for more meaningful learning, that is, textbooks and technological resources.
