This research aimed to present the challenges of basic education and digital inequalities during the Covid-19 Pandemic. To this end, a bibliographical research was carried out, of an exploratory nature, by searching for studies published in databases, using the descriptors: Basic Education. Pandemic. Digital Technologies. Given this context, the literature review aims to present the “Covid-19 Pandemic Scenario”, “The use of technologies during the Covid-19 pandemic” and “The challenges of basic education during the Covid-19 pandemic”. Thus, it is concluded that the challenges presented by basic education during the COVID-19 pandemic have had and still have impacts on student learning and the mental and physical health of teachers, even with the help of technologies for the development of school activities, It was noticed that there is still a large discrepancy between public and private education, highlighting the weaknesses of the Brazilian education system.
