This paper explores the concept of quality in education, a multifaceted construct influenced by a variety of factors, including available resources, pedagogical practices, educational policies and social expectations. The aim is to define what constitutes quality in education and to analyze both the challenges and innovative strategies for promoting it. Adopting a theoretical-conceptual methodology complemented by case studies, this research addresses how educational quality can meet students' expectations and needs, promoting learning that is inclusive, equitable and relevant. Factors such as the quality of teaching, the adequacy of infrastructure, up-to-date teaching materials, teacher training and practice, and innovative pedagogical methods are essential for students' all-round development. The study also investigates how student outcomes can serve as quality indicators, preparing them for future educational and professional steps. Significant challenges such as limited resources, resistance to change, diversity of student needs and external pressures are discussed. Effective strategies include improving public policies, focusing on equity, continuous evaluation and feedback, professional development of educators, strengthening school management, improving infrastructure and community engagement. These actions aim to create a fair, inclusive and effective educational environment, capable of developing sustainable and impactful solutions.
