DEVELOPMENT OF A MOBILE APPLICATION TO FACILITATE ACCESS TO MEDICATION INFORMATION IN TIJUCAS/SC

Abstract

Objectives: This study aims to develop a mobile application to provide information and facilitate access to data about medications in Tijucas/SC, Brazil. Methods: A qualitative approach and an exploratory case study were employed, using the Waterfall model for the development of the application. Results: The application enabled the selection of neighborhoods, search, and access to detailed information about medications, promoting more efficient communication with pharmacies and contributing to treatment adherence. Conclusion: The results indicate that the application is effective in improving access to information about medications, highlighting the relevance of technological solutions in the field of public health.
