ACCESS TO CRIMINAL JUSTICE AND THE ACTIVITY OF THE PUBLIC DEFENSE OFFICE IN REALIZING THE RIGHT OF DEFENSE

Abstract

The objective of the study is to examine how the performance of the public defender, in the exercise of the rights of hyposufficient and marginalized by the criminal justice system individuals can realize access to justice. The Brazilian legal reality presents a selective framework of criminals, vulnerable to the exercise of the right of defense technique. The criminal process is a dialectical procedure that requires constant participation of the defender to achieve the demand. They develop concepts concerning the right criminal defense and vulnerability and in accessing the criminal justice its object of critical analysis and methodological perspective.
