Abstract

Technology is present in the most diverse areas such as health, economy, transport, security, among others and with education it could not be different. The innovations and possibilities brought about by technological advances contribute to the new way of educating. Active methodologies emerge to make students aware of their responsibility in building their own knowledge, applying interactive tools that encourage cooperation and empathy among students, who have the teacher as a guide in their learning process. The research in terms of approach is qualitative, in terms of nature it is presented as descriptive, and in terms of collection procedures it is bibliographic and questionnaire The study was outlined through concepts and studies on technology and active methodologies, as well as the use of both tools in the development of education. The results show that the alliance between technology and active methodologies is a process that can contribute to the development of the education of the future, aimed at students who are aware of their role within the society they are part of.
