Abstract

This research is based on the digital revolution in education with its impacts and transformations in teaching with the evolution of the use of Information and Communications Technologies, bringing the perspectives of teachers and their challenges, opportunities and transformations in teaching. Aiming to verify the main challenges and/or difficulties encountered in relation to remote teaching and/or the inclusion of technology in daily professional life with the advancement of ICTs. This research presents data collected through a questionnaire with the participation of two education professionals from different areas of activity, highlighting their pedagogical practices in their classes using technology. One of the biggest challenges highlighted was how to use Information and Communication Technologies to improve the teaching-learning process. Therefore, the digital revolution in education represents a significant transformation in teaching and learning methods, driven by the evolution and integration of ICTs. This movement has profoundly altered the traditional structure of education, introducing new tools and platforms that facilitate access to knowledge and collaboration at a distance. It is concluded that these techniques have been remodeling education, bringing innovations that enrich the teaching-learning process, but also present challenges that need to be overcome to guarantee an inclusive and equitable education. It is essential that educational institutions and policymakers invest in infrastructure, teacher training and digital content development to maximize the benefits of ICT in education.
