This work falls within the field of rhetorical studies, which aim to discuss the pedagogical function of rhetoric as an efficient instrument of persuasion and a strong ally for the teacher, in his pedagogical action, as long as it is understood outside the Platonic etiquette. In our research, we took one of his tools: figures and, more specifically, metaphor and analogy, to understand how a speech, that of Comenius, which denies the use of rhetoric, is full of its strategies.
