Introduction: The police death sets in tragedy in several ways. Brazil has one of the biggest police mortality taxes in the world. Despite of 2021 registered a reduce in 22% of these deaths comparing 2020 numbers, the results are still startling. This article has the purpose to bring the understanding of the difference between the guidelines’ methods in Prehospital Care and the Tactical Combat Casualty Care Materials and Methods: This article started in September 2022 and was finished in December 2022. Discussion: The Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) is a care out of the hospital to the victims in military acting area. This kind of care shows us a different and unique challenges to the health professionals that are insert in missions and where the guidelines differ from the ones done in civil area. Despite the knowledge of such importance of the TCCC in missions, the number of professionals with this qualification is a little discouraging. The US Marine Corps is going to bring us different trauma guidelines than we are used to do in the civil area. Unlike the ABCDE studied in trauma guidelines, in tactical the guidelines follow the MARCH PAWS mnemonic: Massive Hemorrhage, Airway Management, Breathing, Circulation, Hypothermia and head, Pai Management, Antibiotics, wounds and Splinting. Conclusion: When we analyze the studied articles, it is possible notice benefits brought by inserting a trained health professional in these areas to act in extra-hospital emergencies in combat situations.
