THE CHALLENGES OF THE BEGINNING TEACHER IN THE TEACHING CAREER IN HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract

Introduction: The training and performance of the education teacher at the higher level has been built over time. In addition, teaching in higher education is also related to a very important factor: the insertion in the job market, which many professionals look for in the course as a way of getting back into the job market. Objective to understand the challenges faced by the beginner teacher in Higher Education. Methodology: Study based on bibliographic research that consisted of organizing and clarifying the research topic. Methodology: Result: 15 articles were selected on the challenges of the teacher in higher education and contemporary education and actions for the development of the teacher in the teaching performance. Conclusion: Therefore, it is expected that these notes combine with other research to expand the theoretical-methodological reflections on teaching in higher education and, above all, that the peculiarities and singularities in the teaching of education for the teacher are respected.
