IMPACTS OF THE USE OF IT ON THE LEARNING OF STUDENTS ON THE ACCOUNTING SCIENCES COURSE AT UNIR – VILHENA CAMPUS

Technologies have been used in all areas of a human being's life, therefore, it can be said, that there has been continuous evolution in the technological field. Regardless of age group and educational level, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has improved teaching-learning. For Accounting, these instruments enable the execution of various tasks in the shortest possible time. In view of the above, the present study had the general objective of analyzing the perception of Accounting Sciences students at the Fundação Universidade Federal de Rondônia - Campus Vilhena about the use of IT in their learning. The methodology used was applied research composed of 35 students, exploratory, quantitative, descriptive and correlational, through experimental research. A structured questionnaire with open and closed questions was applied to the research sample, the method for obtaining data was Survey and the answers were listed based on the method adopted in the Likert Scale. The results showed that with regard to the obstacles to overcoming the real integration of ICT in teaching and learning, it was pointed out that it is the “Lack of technical resources (computers, rooms, etc.)”; “Lack of specific human resources to support teachers regarding their doubts about IT (technically and pedagogically)”, “Lack of specific training for the integration of ICTs with students”, and “Lack of appropriate software and digital resources”; 62.9% mentioned that they took a specific course in the Accounting area using an online platform. It is concluded that among the academics of the Accounting course at the Federal University of Rondônia (UNIR) of Vilhena, it was found that in relation to the use of technological resources on the Campus there is still a lack of investment in technological tools and for the training of academics so they can use it.
