Abstract

This paper looked at strategies to improve the social and emotional interaction of children with childhood disorders. It discussed the importance of recognizing and valuing children's individual abilities and interests, highlighting how this can promote their self-esteem and motivation to engage in social interactions. Strategies such as creating structured environments, teaching specific social skills, and promoting inclusion in social activities were explored in detail, emphasising the need for an individualized approach adapted to each child's needs. In addition, the crucial role of parents, school, and health professionals in promoting children's social and emotional development was highlighted, emphasising the importance of collaboration between these different actors. Finally, future challenges and perspectives were discussed, emphasising the continued importance of research and investment in mental health services and special education.
