FEMINICIDE BETWEEN BLACK AND NON-BLACK WOMEN

Femicide is a present reality among women, especially among black women who suffer from the racism that is still perpetuated in Brazilian society today. Therefore, the objective of this article is to contrast the feminicide of black and non-black women; identify that even with the apparatus of laws, black women continue to be killed. The methodology used was qualitative-quantitative research, based on IPEA data from 2011 to 2022 on cases of feminicide in Brazil and bibliographic and documentary research on the topic. Being identified as a result that black women are more victims of feminicide when compared to non-black women, whether due to veiled racism in society or marginalization due to color/race.
