In the initial formation, reflective thinking is essential, as the future educator needs to reflect on their role in the educational environment, considering methodologies and strategies to contribute to teaching and learning. Comics are valuable allies for teachers due to their attractive and entertaining language, which allows for the exploration of various themes, including science. This study aims to understand how pedagogy students perceive the use of comics in science education. The work seeks to present students' conceptions of the difficulties and possibilities of producing comics to address natural science content. The research used a qualitative-quantitative approach, including documentary analysis, questionnaires, observations, and the researcher's narratives. The results highlight that, despite the challenges, comic production is a rich resource for addressing various knowledge areas, science themes, and other disciplines in a playful manner, contributing to the participants' formation by encouraging them to explore diverse strategies and resources in their professional practice.
