This article aims to conceptually study interdisciplinarity as a guiding tool in judicial proceedings of parental alienation with possible loss of custody. We will report a brief conceptualization of parental alienation and custody, listing the reasons for reversal of custody. We'll show you the difference between unilateral and shared custody. Through research, we will highlight the importance of psychology and social work as interdisciplinary subjects in the process. To conclude, we will demonstrate that interdisciplinarity will serve as a basis for decision-making in the change of custody, whether for shared or unilateral custody. The present article used the research with the inductive method, based on bibliographic research.
