Abstract

This bibliographic review addressed the problem of integrating augmented reality (AR) in early childhood education, aiming to explore how this technology can be creatively incorporated to engage children in educational activities. The main objective was to investigate the pedagogical potential of AR and its implications for learning in early childhood education. The methodology involved a systematic literature review, analyzing relevant studies discussing the use of AR in educational contexts. Results showed that AR offers significant opportunities to enrich the educational experience, promoting greater engagement and motivation among children. However, the effective implementation of AR faces challenges, including the need for adequate technological infrastructure and teacher training. The final considerations highlighted the transformative potential of AR in early childhood education, emphasizing the importance of continued research and development to overcome existing obstacles and maximize its pedagogical benefits.
