Abstract

This article aims to investigate the legal nature of the Inspection Seal, collected from the fees owed by citizens who use notarial and registration services in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, with the Notarial and Registry Fund - FUNORE as its destination. It was used to carry out this study techniques relevant to the bibliographic research, evaluation of the doctrinal position on the subject, analysis of the attributions conferred on the Inspection Seal by Law 12.692/06, especially in the part destined to "provide other services" of the Court of Justice do Rio Grande do Sul (TJRS).
