Abstract

Planning provides us with the ability to visualize our context and actions, as, during the planning process, we mentally construct what we wish to achieve and how we will work to accomplish it according to the plan. This procedure offers a broad understanding of our performance and explores new approaches to better meet our needs. In addition to highlighting the importance of planning, there is criticism of how it is developed and conducted in our country. The main objective is to analyze and comprehend various concepts associated with educational planning, investigating its practical application in the context of lesson plans and teaching plans. This work aims to conduct a literature review on school planning, emphasizing its relevance to daily life and performance in the school environment. The approach will be divided into School Plan, Teaching Plan, and Lesson Plan, representing different forms of planning used in schools. Theoretical foundations will include reflections from Vasconcellos (2006), Saviani (2010), Libâneo (1994), and others, contributing to the understanding of expectations regarding school planning and its connection to pedagogical practice. The study seeks to provide a comprehensive view of educational planning, considering not only its theoretical foundations but also its application in the development of teaching and lesson plans. The critical analysis of theoretical frameworks will contribute to a thorough understanding of the role of planning in the effectiveness of the educational process.
