MINORITY AND HISTORICAL CONTRADICTIONS IN THE REALITY OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS IN BRAZIL

Abstract

The history of teenagers in conflict with the law is one of the most complex phenomena of rights consolidation and enforcement in Brazil. Despite the legislation being considered advanced, “minorism” is seen as very present. I then present the historical context and the current impact regarding regulations. Continuing, I briefly return to the concepts of Institutional Analysis and the research path that structured the development of this work, focusing on the importance of the practices of new discourses and institutional interventions.
