SOCIAL PROTECTION IN CUSTODY HEARINGS

Abstract

This article sought to address and analyze the institute of social protection applied in the context of custody hearings, as well as the modus operandi of this procedure in the Custody Hearings Center 02 Olinda. Thus, it is proposed to present reflections and analyze the influence of this new paradigm, based on the principle of the dignity of the human person and which brings to light a new way of dealing with the prison issue. A qualitative and quantitative approach was carried out through descriptive research and literature review, and the deductive and dialectical method was also used. The results led to the understanding that the promotion of social protection in custody hearings, in addition to complying with constitutional rights and guarantees, is in line with international standards for the protection of human rights, as well as its referrals give more effectiveness to the Brazilian social protection network.
