This scientific literature review explores the growing impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on medical diagnosis, addressing a variety of practical applications, ethical challenges, and opportunities to enhance clinical practice. The systematic analysis reveals that AI demonstrates notable effectiveness in interpreting medical images, prognostics, and predictive diagnostics. However, ethical challenges, such as transparency and accountability, emerge as crucial concerns, demanding a rigorous ethical approach and clear normative guidelines. The need for continuous scientific validation, effective integration with clinical practices, and customization for different specialties is highlighted as critical areas. Despite the challenges, AI offers substantial opportunities to improve early detection, treatment personalization, and optimization of healthcare resources. The discussion concludes by emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, rigorous scientific validation, and customized implementation strategies to maximize the benefits of AI in medical diagnosis.
