THE IMPORTANCE OF REGULATIONS ON ONLINE GAMBLING

Abstract

This article will address digital law, the legislative history of gambling and the bills in progress, bringing the main difficulties regarding regulation and the property and psychological damage caused to Brazilians who, faced with the situation, find themselves legally helpless, has the general objective of pointing out the consequences of Online Gambling in Brazil, and as specific objectives the lack of specific regulation for the topic, analyzing the current legislation on online gambling and its deficits and proposing possible solutions to alleviate the unbridled advance of such games. To carry out this article, descriptive research was used with a deductive method with a review of the available literature, using indirect and direct documentation.
