Abstract

The Single Registry identifies and characterizes low-income Brazilian families, with a monthly income equal to or less than half a minimum wage per capita or a monthly family income of up to three minimum wages. Decree No. 6,135 of June 26, 2007, which provides for the Single Registry, also allows the registration of families with higher incomes than low-income families, as long as their inclusion is linked to selection or monitoring in social programs. The general objective is to provide a study on CadÚnico and its integration into service programs for an audience with specific characteristics and needs. This is a bibliographical research, with a qualitative approach that was carried out through studies and readings by the main authors that underlie the research, aiming to understand the professional practice of Social Workers in this work space, especially with the experience experienced during the internship. mandatory in Social Service, in addition to bringing contributions and providing important information for society in general. It is concluded that CadÚnico still presents some challenges, mainly with regard to updating information and expanding access to the most vulnerable families, and to ensure that the system can function effectively and fairly, the government must invest in improving the management of the Single Registry.
