Abstract

The research analyzes aspects that characterize the difficulties in inclusion in the world of work in the field of professional training, in which we highlight the importance of internships. Being in some cases the first contacts with professional experience, initiating the challenges of entering a technical area. Thus, the research aims to deconstruct these inequalities that take proportion when the subject refers to the access of women in the technical area, leading us to think and support a study that integrates technical training, gender, internship and the world of work as an ontological-historical construction over time. In this way, we launch the following scientific problem: Is there influence of the gender factor in the inclusion for the curricular internship of the Mechanics course of Technical Professional Education of Medium Level in the subsequent modality of CMC? We explain that subsequent courses are courses with the modality offered to students who have completed high school. Its general objective is: To understand the processes of inclusion and participation of students in the course of Mechanics of Technical Professional Education of Medium Level in the subsequent modality. We outlined three specific objectives: 1) Understanding the relationships and processes that involve discussions about gender in inclusion in the professional internship; 2) Identify the difficulties faced by final year students in the process of inclusion into the world of work; 3) Describe the social barriers that make it difficult for students to enter the world of work through professional internships. The method used in the research was the single case study. We carried out a qualitative approach, involving students, graduates, professors, administrative technicians and an internship integration agent, which enabled prolonged interviews and conversations with the finalist groups, which we applied as an instrument in the collection of data with the analysis of the results, conducted through Content Analysis.
