In the Amazon region, the use of river transport for transporting cargo and passengers is common, given the distances between urban centers and riverside cities. Sometimes it takes several days on board to reach the destination, so the vessels resemble ships, containing well-designed superstructures with several habitable compartments. The objective of this work was to analyze the voltage drop in the electrical installation of a large river FerryBoat. The methodology used in the research was based on the recommendations of standards ABNT-NBR 5410:2014 and ABNT NBR ISO 8528-7, the object was a merchant ship of the FerryBoat model with the following characteristics: 44 meters long, 9 meters wide ( width), 3 decks and totaling 280 m2 of habitable space, with a maximum capacity for 232 people including passengers and crew. The study concluded that the vessel studied did not present problems in sizing the generator set, however some flaws were identified in the execution of the electrical project as well as voltage drop problems in 3 circuits, with their values fluctuating from 4.16 % to 5.33 %, which corresponds to a voltage loss of up to 6.77 V in the R phase circuit.
