Abstract

The article proposes a critical assessment of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the educational area, focusing on the role of teachers and the integration of technology. Methodologically, it adopts a qualitative approach, supported by interviews with two professors, and is based on a theoretical basis that includes contributions from authors such as Santinello (2013), Silva and Ross (2019), Moran (1997) and other scholars. The study highlights the importance of planned and inclusive pedagogical strategies, with the incorporation of technological resources to make classes more dynamic. Both professors recognize the opportunities and challenges that have arisen during the pandemic, launching the acceleration in the adoption of educational technologies. Individual 01, from elementary school II, highlights the need for more dynamic and connected teacher training, aligned with the demands of technological and innovative education, identifying risks in remote teaching and highlighting the importance of the balance between technology and human aspects to avoid loss of empathy. Individual 02, from elementary school I, focuses on a student-centered approach, using technological resources for dynamic classes. We recognize the opportunities and challenges brought by the pandemic, highlighting the need for adaptability and innovation in post-pandemic teacher training. Both agree on the crucial role of technology in helping students, highlighting the importance of its balanced use and aligned with pedagogical objectives. The conclusion highlights the resilience of the educational community in the face of the challenges of the pandemic, emphasizing the importance of a critical analysis of the transformations that have occurred. Teachers' experiences offer valuable insights for building a more flexible, inclusive, and adaptable education system in the post-pandemic future.
