Abstract

This article shows an overview of the literature on digital education, seeking to define the concept of distance education, whether through literature or even through standards issued by government authorities. Furthermore, it brought examples of digital platforms used as tools in distance learning, so that readers can become aware of the platforms that can be found more easily. Furthermore, through research carried out by other authors, we sought to show not only the advantages brought to the education process through the distance learning model, but also the challenges faced by all actors involved in this process.
