This article discusses basic education reforms and their effects on the formation of indigenous teachers. This is a theoretical and conceptual study, bibliographic in nature and complemented by documentary research, in dialogue with productions in the field of indigenous teacher training. The Study brought an increase in understanding of the topic, guaranteeing the right to training and strengthening differentiated education in educational institutions in Indigenous communities and beyond, thus providing adequate pedagogical conditions for students and building a paradigm of cultural enrichment and linguistic for indigenous peoples.
