FOOD AND NUTRITIONAL EDUCATION IN PEDIATRICS IN BRAZIL – RESCUING PREPARING YOUR OWN FOOD:

Abstract

This study aimed to identify how discussions in the area of health are related to food and nutrition education in pediatrics, making an analysis aimed at rescuing the preparation of the food itself, as well as an insertion of children at this time. It carried out a bibliographic review, where 18 articles found in the database SCIELO and LILACS were analyzed, through the descriptors Food and nutrition education and children. The results shown in Food and Nutrition Education are of paramount importance in all stages of life, especially if prioritized in childhood. But even so, it is necessary to insert educational measures aimed at this group that values ​​the participation of parents and educators in relation to the formation of healthy eating practices even in childhood. This study theoretically contributes to the advancement of research related to Food and Nutrition Education in Pediatrics as a factor that generates knowledge on the subject. While, in practice, parents and educators can use this instrument to develop strategies to improve interventionist activities that obtain children's participation in the culinary act, making this moment a relaxation, as well as a social integration.
