Inventories comprise a large part of a company's physical assets. Being able to determine their size and quantity provides organizations with a favorable environment that promotes a good sales flow, in addition to providing crucial information for planning the future and intelligently provisioning their inputs and products. The present study seeks to demonstrate the benefits of efficient inventory management by carrying out stock inventory and analysis using the ABC curve, in order to support decision making. All information expressing the quantities and volumes of stocks was extracted from the commercial system used by the company. The methodology used is based on the collection of primary data provided by the organization under study, and the conclusions highlight the relevance of adopting efficient inventory practices to improve operational effectiveness, maintain competitiveness and promote sustainable growth in the highly dynamic construction sector .
