Abstract

The construction industry plays a vital role in the Brazilian economy, directly and indirectly influencing several sectors and contributing significantly to the generation of jobs and the country's socioeconomic development. Within this scenario, foundations emerge as fundamental elements, supporting structures and ensuring their stability and durability over time. Among foundation techniques, crown blocks, known as foundation blocks, play a crucial role by effectively transmitting loads between the foundations and the upper elements of the structure. In this context, the geometry, as well as the angle of the reinforcement in the foundation blocks, acquire considerable importance, directly influencing the stress distribution and the support capacity of the structures. Based on this, it is proposed in this document to carry out, concomitantly , a Literature Review and an Integrative Review regarding the importance of the angle of reinforcement in reinforced concrete crown blocks.
