The context of post modernity has been a challenge for Education due to what it requires not only for social progress, but also for economic, technological, cultural progress, etc. In this article, I bring reflections starting from the history of Education passing through the interlines of figures who gave and still give valid contributions to Education as a system. Education is a system that transforms individuals, families and societies. However, for that to happen, it is imperative that it assumes its real function, not ignoring the appropriate tools suitable for each context. Social progress and others that are linked to man are indisputably conditioned to the quality of Education that each Country, nation or people adopts. Without education there is no progress. Without progress there is no innovation. Without innovation man remains primitive.
