Abstract

This work presents reports of experiences lived in the Supervised Internship in Computing II, which takes place in the Licentiate Course in Computing at the study center upper of Itacoatiara – CESIT, at the University of the State of Amazonas – UEA, in which we highlight as the main focus the use of the MIT App Inventor platform with the objective of assisting in the teaching of programming logic for the initial series of technical high school that took place at the Federal Institute of Amazonas – IFAM in the municipality of Itacoatiara in the inside of Amazonas. In addition to the teaching and learning aspects, an analysis was carried out on computational thinking, applied in the initial grades during the year 2022, due to the return of classes shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic, which led many of the students to have a certain lack of computational base, including in areas involving programming. In this way, we know that it is of great importance that the academics of the computer support and maintenance course at IFAM campus in Itacoatiara be able to acquire a good programming base, as it is one of the most important areas today. The aspects observed during the internship period allowed reflections to be carried out on the importance of the internship as a training process for the professional future teacher, and it was found that the supervised internship acts in an incisive way in the training of undergraduate students. In addition, it gives the undergraduate student the opportunity to apply computational tools to promote digital inclusion as a pedagogical support.
