In this article, we address the use of educational games in teaching mathematics to students in Elementary School I, more specifically in the 5th year. The objective is to discuss the implementation of the Speed Racer game as part of an action plan during the supervised internship to improve mathematical learning. The results and discussions highlight the benefits of gamification in enhancing mathematics teaching and its positive impact on students. This work was carried out during the supervised internship at Escola Estadual Santo Agostinho.
