This article aims to address the issue of mental health rehabilitation of women in women's prisons, focusing on therapeutic alternatives for the treatment of depression and anxiety. The female prison population faces unique mental health challenges, making it essential to explore integrative approaches that include herbal medicines, psychopharmaceuticals, and holistic therapies. This article discusses the effectiveness of these approaches, highlighting the importance of a personalized approach to successful rehabilitation. To this end, the methodology adopted was the academic essay that consisted of an analysis and critical synthesis of the topic. Finally, it is concluded by adopting an integrative approach, the article highlights the personalization of treatment, the training of inmates and adequate monitoring as elements crucial in successful rehabilitation. It is argued that this approach not only treats mental conditions, but also respects the individuality of inmates, empowers them with practical skills and provides ongoing support. The text emphasizes the benefits of the integrative approach, discusses the importance of investing in mental health in women's prisons and highlights the positive prospects for successful rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
