Abstract

The objective of this article is to analyze the impact that Resolution -RDC No. 786, of May 5, 2023, will have on pharmaceutical care in community pharmacy, with the expansion of testing environments, the population will have easier access to rapid tests in disease diagnoses screening, a rapid test is one whose execution, reading and interpretation of results are carried out in up to 30 minutes. We have a range of rapid tests available to identify diseases such as zika, malaria, dengue fever, hepatitis, HIV, Covid, syphilis, in addition to those that allow the tracking and monitoring of various conditions such as diabetes, high cholesterol, PSA (prostate), uric acid, Beta-HCG (pregnancy) among others. Conventional laboratory tests require a laboratory structure and often long deadlines for releasing results.
