Abstract

Interdisciplinarity is a valuable teaching methodology that aims at the integration of disciplines so that a content can be learned and taught in different ways from the integration of disciplines. Through interdisciplinarity the student acquires greater understanding of the object taught with more fluency and propriety. In this way, introducing interdisciplinarity in the day to day in the school context will certainly contribute to an integral development of the student, which in turn will find meaning and pleasure in daily activities and becomes an active and participatory subject in the process of building knowledge and autonomy.
